I am Banoth Gani, the father of Banoth Prakashini, and I’m reaching out to you in the most difficult time of our lives. Our family has been struck by a tragic accident, and we are in dire need of your support. On the way from Gandipet to Kokapet, our lives took a devastating turn as an accident unfolded right before our eyes.

My wife and I were on one bike, while my son and daughter, Banoth Prakashini, were on another. As they were crossing the road, a lorry collided with them, causing catastrophic injuries to Prakashini. While my son emerged safe, Prakashini’s thigh bore the brunt of the impact, leading to severe injuries in her pelvis floor and abdominal areas.

Prakashini had seizures yesterday night and is under observation for the next 24 hours with the supervision of Gynic, Gastro, Uro, and Ortho Surgeons. She remains critical, and it’s going to be a long journey for recovery.

Prakashini is a brilliant M.Tech graduate with dreams and aspirations for her future. We cannot bear to see her struggle, lying in the ICU, but we are confronted with a tremendous financial burden. The medical expenses have already reached 5 lakhs and may pile up to 20 lakhs as the treatment will continue for the foreseeable future. We are in a desperate and helpless situation as I’m a driver by profession become difficult to afford the necessary treatment for my daughter.
